The business was created to give homeowners, landlords and local properties a more professional, organised and quality-led heating service. Our focus is not rushed work or the cheapest number on paper. Our focus is clear advice, proper system assessment, tidy workmanship and long-term reliability.

How I Started Truheat
A Message From Daniel Penno
My name is Daniel Penno, founder of Truheat Heating and Plumbing Ltd.
I started my career after leaving school, completing a four year plumbing course while also working as a plumber’s apprentice. From there, I spent several years developing my skills across bathrooms, pipework, heating systems, boiler servicing and boiler repairs.
In 2013, I had the opportunity to travel and work in Sydney, Australia, where I gained experience on larger commercial projects including pipework in a refurbished shopping mall and work connected to a new hospital project.
After returning to the UK, I spent 10 years working for a local heating and plumbing company as a service engineer. During that time, I gained further qualifications and experience across gas boilers, oil boilers, commercial systems, domestic heating, servicing, repairs, breakdowns and full system installations.
Over the years, customers often commented on the care, detail and standards I brought to my work. That feedback became one of the reasons behind starting Truheat.
I wanted to build a company that reflects the way I believe heating work should be carried out: properly assessed, clearly explained, carefully installed and supported after completion.

Truheat is a growing local heating and plumbing company led by Daniel Penno.
As the business develops, our aim is to build a team that works to clear standards, follows proper processes and delivers the same level of care customers expect from Truheat.
Every engineer, installer and subcontractor working on behalf of Truheat is expected to respect the customer’s home, communicate clearly, protect the work area and complete work to a professional standard.
For boiler installations, our team works to the Truheat Quality Check, our structured installation quality process designed to make sure key stages are checked, documented, commissioned and handed over properly.
This helps us deliver consistent standards as the company grows, without relying on one person’s memory or approach.
