When I left school, I went to college on a plumbing course for 4 years. During this time, I worked as a lifeguard at my local swimming pool and working as a plumber’s apprentice. Moving forward from my apprenticeship I worked for the same company for 7 years, working on bathrooms, large and small heating systems, boiler servicing and repairs.

In 2013 I had the opportunity to travel and work in Sydney Australia. Whilst working in Sydney I assisted colleagues with pipework in a refurbished shopping mall and construction of a new hospital.

After our travels I then started working for a local heating and plumbing company. During my 10 years working as a service engineer I have acquired more qualifications to work on oil boilers, commercial boilers and systems. Throughout my time at this company I have become very diverse at accommodating to different aspects of the heating and plumbing trade. These include full system installation for gas and oil boilers, at both domestic and commercial properties. Seeing to boiler/system breakdowns and repair, servicing gas and oil appliances annually.  

I have had many compliments throughout my career, from customers leaving positive reviews about me and how I go about the job and carry out my work to the highest standards. Hearing compliments like these have driven me to pursue my own company 'Truheat'.
